As I recall, what really ended things last years was that due to the<br>
damp weather we'd had, we got some mosquitoes showing up around<br>
sunset. This is unusual in our yard, due to the altitude and distance<br>
from open water. We've noticed a few of the critters around sunset<br>
this year, too. We've also been seeing redwing blackbirds at our<br>
feeder. That's another symptom of the recent damp weather, since they<br>
normally stick pretty close to the shores they like to nest near.<br>

Send from an iTerm window on my Macbook Pro, ssh'd to trillian, a<br>
FreeBSD machine at MIT, using the ancient mh mail package and the vim<br>
editor. (Actually, I wonder how hard it would be to automate the<br>
calculation of this sort of parody of the ads that the mobile gadgets<br>
like to append to email. ;-)<br>
