[Macwoburn] An Inconvenient Truth and the future of Macwoburn

Hi,

If you haven't yet seen this film, I suggest you rent it or go see  
it. There will be a showing and discussion of An Inconvenient Truth  
this Saturday, Feb. 3, at 6:30 p.m. at First Parish, 630 Mass Ave. in  
Arlington  Center.

There are many ways each of us can live and work while consuming  
fewer resources and outputting less waste and pollution. MacWoburn  
has always recycled technology by placing used equipment in new  
homes. I would like the group to help identify various community  
resources or events where people may bring their equipment,  
peripherals, etc and know they are being properly disposed of.

I would like to discuss this more at our next meeting on February  
21st from 7-9 at the Woburn Senior Center. We can try and identify  
the types of things computer users typically throw out and then ask  
various members to identify possible solutions which can go up on our  
web page. I look forward to having a valuable and productive discussion.
