As a service to all the folks out there looking for a manual to take apart
or repair their mac, here is a link to a site that has made them available
for download (I am not associated with the site)

Apple made CDs (called service source) with every mac model included as PDF
files showing tips for repair, troubleshooting and take apart. Digital
pictures or winderful illustrations were the norm, tools required, safety
tips. I worked for a VAR that had a tech who knew nothing about Macs, he
would pop in a CD, call up the model of the Mac he was working on, bingo!
He
was opening it up and fixing it in no time. (This was around the time of
the
Blue and White G3 for Apple timeline fans) The service source CD's are
obviously very useful, but as you had to pay a crapload of money to be part
of Apple's certified repair people, the average joe couldn't get his hands
on them. I have a set from my training time at apple (One of the last sets
they gave out, I was told)

Find them here: http://www.whoopis.com/computer_repair/

Ken's is here: (So he doesn't have to look, poor guy)
