Hi Terry,

I am so very glad to help and regret that we have only been able to
help in such a small way. I have found a mover who makes regular trips
to Pittsburgh and is willing to ship more computers there. Perhaps
Dave and the Center for Hope can be a pivot point to refocus computers
needed in other parts of the country. I do hope to be able to meet you
in person. Give my best greetings to your user group.

Peace,

P.A.M. Borys

This is all so wonderful. If I have anything to say about it, the next time a
natural disaster strikes somewhere in the world, our user group will offer some
kind of assistance. Perhaps we can even collaborate to make this happen.

>I am pleased to say that the generosity of MacWoburn members and our neighbors
and the outstanding work of Dave Sevick in Pittsburgh has made the second
shipment of Macs and Macintosh peripherals possible. Local shipping to
Pittsburgh
is being furnished by Gentle Giant. I am also pleased to have teamed up with a
Concord-based organization, bridgetobiloxi.org and they plan on helping find
equipment for successive shipments. Thanks to all of you who have spread the
word, donated equipment, and boxed equipment. And thanks, too, to Phil Green of
Gentle Giant who is gracious enough to pick up the many boxes from my home and
arrange for their delivery in Pittsburgh.
