And so they have:

  varrun on /var/run type tmpfs (rw,noexec,nosuid,nodev,mode=3D0755)

Ahh... tmpfs.  I usually turn it off whenever I notice it's being
used.  I don't like it when stuff automatically disappears after I
reboot.  That's usually exactly when I discover I actually needed it.
