I do strongly dislike Perl, and 10+ years of using it have not dissuaded me from that opinion. I only wish I could have taken a good look at Python much sooner than I did. Still, I acknowledge that lots of folks find Perl to be a fine tool, and I hope the discussion remains civil. -- Derek D.
