This thread has made me glad that I paid $500 for my TiVo + lifetime
service.  It Just Works(TM), and I only pay $2/mo for the dual-tuner
cablecard, so no STB rental.  And for another $9/mo I get all the
movies and TV shows I can download from Netflix.
