i have apache2 running on a machine on my local router net.
the html runs fine, but i haven't been able to get it to
run the cgi scripts which run fine on my remote server.

i would guess that this is some sort of configuration
problem, but after studying the o'reilly rat book, i have
not been able to hit on the right line to put into the
configuration file (/etc/apache2/apache2-conf).

  AddHandler cgi-script .cgi

was suggested (though deprecated), but didn't help.

any clues?
