What do the permissions on the directory where the perl module lives look like? It's odd that Emacs can edit the file, but eclipse can't... but not that odd. Emacs generally makes a copy of the file and then recreates it anew -- Eclipse probably has a different behavior. Though, that would seem to suggest that it's not a permissions problem on the directory. Still, it might be useful to see them. Is it possible that when you're trying to edit the file with Eclipse, it's open or locked by another process? -- Derek D.
