i have a multi function printer/copier/scanner (HP PSC1315xi)
running under suse10.  i find that after i use the printer
function, the scanner will not work, showing a pop-up with
the message "Failed to start scanner.  Device busy."  if i
reboot, the scanner will work, but then the printer is
disabled.  after enabling the printer and using it, the
scanner won't work again.  is there a secret i should know?
