tried this. system responds:
    "insmod: can't read 'sr_mod' no such file or directory"
i noticed, however, that, sr_mod.ko exists in
    /lib/modules/2.6.5-1.358/kernel/drivers/scsi/
is there something i need to build?  and how?  or what?
