yes, indeed.  went there, got it (needed the generic for
fc2) and all seems well (it's /dev/ttySHSF0).  kermit
dials out okay so the modem is there and works.  thank you.

however efax gives me an error:

  efax: 41:12 Error: wrong response after command:  +FCLASS=1

puzzling.  any thoughts?
