i use ppp only when off on trips, and haven't had
occasion to use it since before i upgraded to rh9.0.
it worked fine under rh7.3.

but internet connections seem not to work.  pinging the
local ip address works, the remote doesn't.  i couldn't
find any module ppp-compress-21.  is that what's missing?
and where would i get it if i needed it?  any advice would
be greatly appreciated.
