not so long ago when i was running rh7.3 on my ibm tp600e, with an internal cdrw drive, i was able to run cdrecord with -dev=0,0,0 and burn cdroms with no problem. now, having upgraded to rh9.0, when i try it i get the following error message scsidev: '0,0,0' scsibus: 0 target: 0 lun: 0 Linux sg driver version: 3.1.24 cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/sg*'. Cannot open SCSI dr cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'.
