i have a pcmcia scsi card plugged into my ibm-tp 600e
running rh 7.3, which has worked fine up until today.

today i booted up with a dos disk containing ps2 so that i
could enable the serial port.  i did indeed disable the ir
port and enabled the serial port.  when i rebooted linux,
the scsi no longer worked.  i have no idea what could have
gone wrong.  disabling the serial port doesn't help (as one
might expect), but then . . .
