-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 At some point hitherto, Scott Prive hath spake thusly: [Hyperterm] > It's a very nice client... it handles serial port TCP/IP servers > very well, which other clients (Putty, MS Telnet) didn't like > (especially when trying to display BIOS menu over telnet). I have to disagree. I haven't used hyperterm on recent Windows (so it may have improved), but in the past I've found that hyperterm has some serious issues with certain aspects of its VT100 emulation. I also have found that if you enable the buffer, but limit the window to a certain number of lines (so you can have a normal-sized window, and have the ability to scroll back), hyperterm does some funky things. It's been a while, so I can't really get more specific than that. It also doesn't (or didn't) support SSH, which makes it all but useless to me... ;-) - -- Derek Martin ddm@pizzashack.org - --------------------------------------------- I prefer mail encrypted with PGP/GPG!
