-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 At some point hitherto, Jerry Feldman hath spake thusly: > I would change this to: > CVSROOT=:pserver:qalab@bathtub:/var/cvsroot_generic > CVSREAD=y > STEST='stest-dontuse-test.tar' > export CVSROOT > export CVSREAD > export STEST While I agree in principle, and I always write my scripts this way when there's any possibility of having a need to have them be portable, in this case it really doesn't matter one iota. The script is clearly written to be used for a specific purpose on a specific machine, which is guaranteed to be running Linux. Making this change amounts to extra typing for no practical benefit. When run under bash, the two versions behave identically. - -- Derek Martin ddm@pizzashack.org - --------------------------------------------- I prefer mail encrypted with PGP/GPG!
