Canna is a method for entering Kanji characters, used by asian
languages.  The related packages are Canna-libs and Canna-devel.  Note
the Capital C.  It is one of two primary input systems for Kanji, the
other of which escapes me at the moment.  IIRC, Canna is used more
with Japanese, and the other is used more with Chinese, though both
can be used for either language, as I understand it.
