thanks all for the suggestions.  will give them a try and let
you know how i made out in a few days (when i get back from
fifing and drumming in williamsburg).

unfortunately, in a probably unwise decision to save money,
i did not get the next step up in service from pair, which
allows cgi, and costs about double.  maybe we reconsider.

and on a previous subject, i personally would find a blu
program on gnupg/pgp very useful.  reading the man pages had
my head spinning (admittedly i didn't spend long enough, just
wanted to case the subject).
