using the wrong program. I think you need dhcpcd or pump, both of which
handle dhcp connections and dynamic IPs (dhcp: _Dynamic_ Host Control

give me a static ip i have to use pppoe, but every time i try ti connect it
times out. It did not give me the option of dhcp. Can i get some
suggestions on why it keeps timing out.
