well, thanks to blu help i successfully downloaded/installed
netscape 6.1 and it seems to work . . . after a fashion.

     - whereas v4.61 took 15 s to load, v6.1 takes over a minute
     - it seems to have even more features that i don't need than
       did v4.61

for most stuff it seems to work ok, but the reason i decided to
"upgrade" was to read my EZPass statement at:

     https://viewbill.chase.com/EZPass/

going to that site using v4.61 i got a message saying i wasn't
secure enough.  fine, but when using v6.1 netscape freezes up
and won't even "close" but needs "destroy".

do i need to install something else, or . . . ?
