I've been trying to get my wireless card (Compaq WL110) running under SuSE
7.3 for a few weeks now. I was able to test it under Windows.
In any case, it has an Orinoco chipset, and when starting up it brought up
the orinoco_cs driver.
To make a long story short, other Linux systems came ruight up with them,
but loaded the wvlan_cs driver, not Orinoco. With that info, a quick mod of
/etc/pcmcia/
config, config.opts, and wvlan_cs.opts files wvlan_cs loaded very nicely,
and the card is now properly working (at least at home.
In any case it was strictly configurational.
